Malabar Gold & Diamonds, one of the world’s largest jewellery retailers, launched its latest natural diamond line, ‘NUWA by Mine Diamonds’, at an exclusive event in Mumbai, marking another push to expand its footprint in the premium segment.

The collection was unveiled at a gala evening on July 13 at JW Marriott, featuring a runway show where eight models showcased statement pieces from the NUWA range. Bollywood actor Nimrat Kaur headlined the show as the celebrity showstopper, while renowned fashion designer Nikhita Tandon collaborated on the event with couture looks designed to complement NUWA’s contemporary designs.

NUWA is fronted by brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor Khan and aims to capture the spirit of modern women under the campaign #ShineOutLoud, encouraging wearers to express individuality and strength through versatile, bold designs. “The NUWA collection builds on abstract and contemporary forms, celebrating the resilience of modern women,” said MP Ahammed, Chairman, Malabar Group. “It redefines luxury to be grand in design yet light in feel.”

The new collection includes modern silhouettes such as two-in-one rings, zipper-inspired necklaces, rotating bangles and Italian chains, all crafted to be adaptable across occasions. Every piece is designed and produced at Malabar’s diamond design studio in Mumbai. Each natural diamond above 0.30 carats undergoes a two-step certification to ensure quality and authenticity.

The NUWA collection is available at accessible price points across Malabar’s network of over 400 showrooms in 13 countries, including India, the Middle East, the Far East, the U.S., the U.K., Canada and Australia.

Malabar Gold & Diamonds, with a workforce of 25,000 across 26 countries, says it has served over 15 million customers globally. The company upholds its ‘Malabar Promises’, offering transparent pricing with detailed cost breakdowns, lifetime maintenance, and 100% exchange value for old gold and diamonds. Each diamond is certified through a 28-point quality check, and purchases are backed by one-year complimentary insurance.

Known for its focus on ethical sourcing, Malabar says all gold and diamonds are procured through authorised, verified channels, with every piece of jewellery fully HUID-compliant. The group contributes 5% of its profits to CSR initiatives, funding education, healthcare, housing, sustainability, hunger eradication and women’s empowerment.
