Autoverse Mobility has appointed automotive industry veteran Rama Shankar Pandey as Co-founder while simultaneously launching its new Autoverse Parts Procurement Platform, a digital ecosystem designed to streamline the way independent garages source genuine automotive components across India.

The Bengaluru-based company, which aims to modernise the fragmented multibrand workshop sector, announced the developments at an industry gathering on 19 November that brought together more than 75 independent garages. The event marked a significant step in Autoverse’s ambition to build a technology-led distribution network that enhances transparency, reliability and access to authentic parts.

Pandey joins Autoverse with over two decades of leadership experience across the automotive and manufacturing sectors, including key roles at Bosch, Tata Green Batteries and German components manufacturer Hella, where he served as Managing Director for over a decade. He has also held influential positions at the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), including Chairman of the Aftermarket Committee and leadership roles in skilling and mentoring initiatives.

At Autoverse, Pandey will spearhead relationships with manufacturers, strengthen distribution infrastructure and help advance the company’s technology-driven strategy to support India’s independent workshop ecosystem. Speaking on his new role, he said Autoverse is creating “a transparent, tech-enabled supply chain” that solves a longstanding challenge for workshops: sourcing genuine parts quickly and reliably.

Central to Autoverse’s next phase of growth is its newly launched parts procurement platform. The system connects garages directly with OEMs, OES suppliers and existing distribution networks, offering workshops real-time access to authentic components. The company says the platform is designed to eliminate sourcing delays, reduce downtime and help garages deliver faster, more dependable service.

The platform features a catalogue of more than six million vehicle-to-part mappings, enabling precise fitment checks. Workshops can view live stock availability, pricing and alternative options across the Autoverse network. Integrated ordering, transparent tracking and category-wise support for lubricants, filters, suspension, braking, clutch and electrical parts form part of the offering. Additional tools include loyalty programmes, order histories and automated recommendations aimed at improving profitability for independent workshops.

Autoverse’s distribution network, supported by its own and partner warehouses, uses a hybrid logistics model to ensure high-demand parts reach garages within 45 minutes. According to Founder and CEO Mihir Mohan, the new platform strengthens the company’s commitment to improving access to genuine parts while enabling workshops to deliver safer, higher-quality service.
