Dhoot Transmission Group, a leading player in the global auto component industry, has announced the appointment of Mr. Naveen Kumar as its new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). In his new role, Mr. Kumar will report to the company’s Founder and Managing Director, Mr. Rahul Dhoot.
Bringing more than three decades of leadership experience across automotive, manufacturing, and technology sectors, Mr. Kumar has built a reputation for driving business growth, operational excellence, and forging strategic global partnerships.
Prior to joining Dhoot Transmission, he served as Group CEO of Napino Auto & Electronics, where he oversaw large-scale expansions, boosted operational efficiency, and spearheaded the establishment of a cutting-edge R&D center. Under his leadership, Napino entered into key joint ventures with international majors such as Continental AG and ZF TRW, significantly strengthening its global footprint.

An alumnus of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Kumar has also completed a Senior Management Program at IIM Calcutta.
