Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor has leased out a residential property in Mumbai’s Bandra West for a monthly rent of ₹5.51 lakh, according to property records reviewed by Square Yards on the Maharashtra registration portal. The agreement was registered in November 2025.

Bandra West, one of Mumbai’s most coveted neighbourhoods, is known for its mix of upscale residences, thriving commercial pockets and cultural landmarks. The area is well connected through major arterial roads, suburban rail links and upcoming metro corridors, offering easy access to business hubs such as Bandra Kurla Complex, Mahim and Santacruz. Its lively high streets, popular cafés and seaside promenades, including Bandstand and Carter Road, continue to make it a preferred address for professionals, families and public figures.

Records show that Kapoor’s leased property is located in Grand Bay Condominium on Hill Road and has a carpet area of 204.38 sq m (around 2,200 sq ft). The agreement includes three car parking spaces. The transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹17,100 and registration fees of ₹1,000, in addition to a security deposit of ₹20 lakh. The one-year lease beginning November 2025 brings the total rental value to ₹66.12 lakh.

Square Yards’ review of past records indicates that the same apartment had been leased earlier as well, with a registration dated November 2023. That two-year agreement was signed at ₹5 lakh per month for the first year and ₹5.25 lakh for the second, amounting to a total rental value of ₹1.23 crore.

Karisma Kapoor remains one of Hindi cinema’s most recognised performers, rising to prominence in the 1990s and early 2000s with acclaimed roles in films such as Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, Fiza and Zubeidaa. A National Film Award and multiple Filmfare Award winner, she is celebrated for her versatility and enduring presence on screen.
