Ritika Sajdeh, wife of Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma, has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Prabhadevi locality for ₹26.30 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by real estate data analytics firm Square Yards. The transaction was registered in December 2025, as per records available on the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website.
The property is located in Ahuja Towers, a high-end residential development in Prabhadevi, one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. The apartment has a carpet area of 2,760.40 sq ft (256.45 sq metres) and comes with three car parking spaces. Registration documents show that stamp duty of ₹1.31 crore was paid for the transaction, along with registration charges of ₹30,000.
Prabhadevi has emerged over the past decade as a premium residential and commercial hub, benefiting from its central location and strong connectivity. The area offers seamless access to Mumbai’s key business districts, including Lower Parel, Worli and the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). It is well connected through major arterial roads such as the Western Express Highway, Senapati Bapat Marg and Dr Annie Besant Road, while the Prabhadevi railway station on the Western Line provides suburban rail connectivity.
The neighbourhood also enjoys proximity to the Bandra–Worli Sea Link, which significantly reduces travel time between the city’s western suburbs and South Mumbai. With the development of luxury high-rise residential projects, premium office spaces and lifestyle amenities, Prabhadevi has increasingly attracted corporate leaders, professionals and high-net-worth individuals.
The locality is home to several prominent landmarks and offers access to upscale retail outlets, healthcare facilities and reputed educational institutions. Real estate experts say Prabhadevi’s central location and evolving urban infrastructure continue to support demand for premium housing, despite higher property prices.
