Temple Connect, a global temple information and engagement platform founded by Giresh Kulkarni, has partnered with pilgrimage travel company Trip To Temples to enhance the spiritual and operational experience of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, one of the holiest pilgrimages in Hinduism. The collaboration aims to strengthen safety, accessibility, and transparency while making the pilgrimage more inclusive and sustainable.
The partnership comes as the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra resumed in June 2025 after a five-year suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic and India–China border restrictions. Trip To Temples currently offers multiple route options starting from Lucknow, Kathmandu, and Lhasa, designed to simplify logistics for devotees.
Under the collaboration, Temple Connect will leverage its global outreach and digital presence to expand awareness and engagement for the pilgrimage, while Trip To Temples will manage ground operations, logistics, and customized pilgrimage support. Together, the organisations aim to serve more than 5,000 devotees over the next 12 to 18 months.
“The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not just a journey—it’s an experience of spiritual awakening,” said Kulkarni, who also leads the International Temples Convention & Expo (ITCX). “Through this partnership, we aim to make the yatra more accessible, trustworthy, and soul-enriching while maintaining its spiritual sanctity.”
Trip To Temples Managing Director and CEO Vikash Mishra said the collaboration aligns with the company’s mission to remove barriers for pilgrims. “Our goal has always been to serve every devotee with compassion and transparency,” Mishra said. “With Temple Connect’s spiritual network and our operational expertise, we are prepared to redefine how pilgrims experience Kailash Mansarovar.”
Trip To Temples earlier pioneered India’s first Kailash Aerial Darshan—a service that allows devotees to witness Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar by air, eliminating the need for international travel or permits. The initiative was developed to ensure access for those unable to undertake the traditional trek due to age, health, or visa constraints.
The company’s yatra packages include personalised offerings such as Kailash miniatures, duffle bags, warm clothing, and round-the-clock emergency support. Special provisions are also available for senior citizens and pilgrims with special needs.
The collaboration also seeks to promote sustainable pilgrimage tourism by generating employment opportunities for local guides, hospitality workers, and logistics providers while ensuring alignment with traditional Panchang-based auspicious dates.
