Godrej Industries Group, in collaboration with the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces (GCHW) and Arogya World, is set to convene global leaders, industry experts and health advocates at the Global Summit 2025 and the 14th Annual Healthy Workplace Conference. The two-day event, scheduled for 20–21 November at Godrej One in Mumbai, will explore how workplaces can transition from traditional wellness models to a more holistic culture of “vitality”.
A new era for workplace well-being
As businesses confront rapid technological change, shifting demographics and rising employee expectations, workplace health has emerged as a central strategic priority. This year’s summit, themed “Workplace Health 2030: Redefining the Future, From Wellness to Vitality”, will examine how organisations can embed well-being into leadership, culture and long-term sustainability frameworks.
Key themes include mental health parity, inclusion, predictive health technologies powered by artificial intelligence, empathetic leadership and new ESG-linked indicators for measuring well-being outcomes.
Ajay Bhatt, Group Head of Corporate Services at Godrej Industries Group, said the organisation views employee health as fundamental to business resilience. “As workplaces evolve, embedding health and empathy into organisational culture is not optional – it’s essential. Through this summit, we aim to inspire action that creates thriving, resilient teams and sets new global standards for workplace health,” he said.
Global voices, local impact
The conference will feature keynote addresses from Dr Rati Godrej of Godrej Industries Group, Banmali Agrawala, Chairman of Tata Advanced Systems, and Sumit Mitra, CHRO at Godrej Industries. International author and thought leader Hector Garcia, best known for Ikigai, will discuss cultural drivers of happiness and employee vitality.
Speakers from organisations including the OECD (France), National University of Singapore, Reliance Industries, Tata Power, DU (UAE), Bridge Health, Pfizer and Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. will lead discussions on digital innovation, leadership and the cultural dimensions of workplace health. Sessions will explore AI-driven well-being tools, case studies on personalised health programmes and ESG-linked assessment models.
Barry Crisp, Marketing and Communications Director at GCHW, said workplace health is now a “strategic imperative”. “This summit is uniting global voices to embed vitality, mental health parity and ESG-linked metrics into the DNA of organisations,” he said.
Awards and new initiatives
The event will also host the Global Healthy Workplace Awards, recognising companies that demonstrate leadership in employee well-being. Arogya World will use the platform to launch Arogya City Mumbai, an initiative aimed at elevating community health standards.
With more than 40 speakers from over 10 countries, organisers say the summit aims to shape a global movement that places health at the heart of the future of work.
