Wipro Limited and ServiceNow have expanded their strategic partnership to deploy “agentic AI” workflows across key enterprise operations, including information technology, human resources, procurement and cybersecurity.
The companies announced on Thursday that the collaboration would integrate Wipro Intelligence™, the Indian technology firm’s suite of AI-powered platforms and services, with the ServiceNow AI Platform to help businesses automate and manage workflows more efficiently.
The partnership aims to reduce manual coordination between departments by enabling AI systems to initiate, organise and execute tasks across enterprise functions. The companies said the integration would also improve operational visibility, accountability and governance.
Several of Wipro’s AI-driven solutions will be enhanced through the partnership, including SmartProcure for procurement management, Telco Autonomous Networks for telecom operations, and Cyber Transform for cybersecurity response and governance.
The announcement reflects a broader push among technology companies to move beyond experimental AI deployments towards practical enterprise applications capable of automating routine business operations.
Amit Zavery, president and chief operating officer at ServiceNow, said businesses were increasingly looking for “connected, governed and outcome-driven AI” rather than isolated AI tools.
Malay Joshi, chief executive of Wipro’s Americas 1 Strategic Market Unit, said the challenge for many organisations was scaling AI adoption effectively across operations.
Under the expanded partnership, clients are expected to gain a unified system for managing work requests, alongside policy-aligned execution, built-in governance controls and improved operational tracking.
The companies said the collaboration would help enterprises implement agentic AI at scale while improving employee experience and operational efficiency.
Agentic AI refers to artificial intelligence systems capable of independently carrying out tasks and making decisions within defined workflows, often with minimal human intervention. Industry analysts view such systems as the next stage in enterprise AI adoption, particularly in sectors seeking greater automation and faster decision-making processes.
