Allcargo Group has appointed Ravi Jakhar as Director – Strategy and Group Chief Financial Officer, expanding his responsibilities to include finance, strategy, and global business expansion. Jakhar has been serving as the Group Chief Strategy Officer since 2020.

In his new role, Jakhar will oversee the finance function across all group entities, including ECU Worldwide, Allcargo Terminals, AllcargoGati, and TransIndia Real Estate. He will also lead key corporate functions such as legal, internal audit, investor relations, and mergers & acquisitions through the group’s Centres of Excellence.

Jakhar will work closely with Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Allcargo Group, to drive long-term growth strategies. He will continue to manage the Latin America and Oceania markets, and oversee joint ventures globally.

Since joining Allcargo, Jakhar has led several strategic initiatives, including mergers, demergers, capital raising, and M&A transactions. Under his leadership, the Latin America business of ECU Worldwide has emerged as one of the group’s fastest-growing regions, registering a turnaround and expansion across South and Central America.

Jakhar is an IIT BHU alumnus and has completed an executive programme at Harvard Business School. With over two decades of experience in strategy, finance, and entrepreneurship, he is also known for his interest in sports, poetry, and travel.
