Autoverse Mobility has named automotive industry veteran Rama Shankar Pandey as its new Co-founder, coinciding with the launch of a technology platform aimed at transforming how independent workshops source genuine vehicle parts across India.
The Bengaluru-based company announced the developments at an industry meet on 19 November, attended by over 75 independent garages. The move marks a significant step in Autoverse’s efforts to modernise India’s fragmented multi-brand workshop ecosystem through transparent sourcing and improved supply chain reliability.
Pandey brings more than two decades of leadership experience from Bosch, Tata Green Batteries and German components manufacturer Hella, where he served as Managing Director for over a decade. He has also held senior roles within the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), including its Aftermarket Committee and skilling initiatives.
In his new role, Pandey will lead manufacturer partnerships, strengthen distribution networks and drive Autoverse’s technology-led strategy. He said the company is building “a transparent, tech-enabled supply chain” that addresses one of the biggest challenges faced by workshops — quick and reliable access to genuine parts.
At the centre of Autoverse’s next phase of expansion is its newly launched Autoverse Parts Procurement Platform. The system connects workshops directly with OEMs, OES suppliers and distributors, offering real-time visibility on stock, pricing and fitment accuracy. Its database includes more than six million vehicle-to-part mappings, enabling garages to check compatibility before placing orders.
Workshops can also access integrated ordering, transparent tracking and dedicated support across key categories such as lubricants, filters, suspension, braking, clutch and electrical parts. Additional tools, including loyalty programmes and automated recommendations, aim to improve profitability for independent workshops.
Autoverse operates through its own and partner warehouses, using a hybrid logistics model that promises delivery of high-demand parts within 45 minutes. Founder and CEO Mihir Mohan said the platform reinforces the company’s mission to improve access to genuine components and support safer, high-quality vehicle servicing across the country.
