Wipro Limited has completed its acquisition of Mindsprint, strengthening the Indian IT company’s presence in the global food and agri-business sector.

The deal, first announced in April 2026, forms part of an eight-year strategic transformation partnership between Wipro and Olam Group, a Singapore-headquartered food and agri-business firm with annual revenues exceeding $50bn and a workforce of nearly 40,000 people.

Wipro said the acquisition would enhance its “farm-to-fork” technology capabilities and expand the deployment of its AI platform, Wipro Intelligence™, across the agriculture and supply chain sectors.

Mindsprint employs more than 3,200 professionals and has played a central role in Olam Group’s digital transformation efforts. The company specialises in supply-chain transformation, commodity trading technology and proprietary digital platforms designed for the food and agri-business industry.

Its portfolio includes platforms such as Farmsprint® for plantation management, Procuresprint® for AI-enabled procurement transformation, SprintAP™ for payables automation, Salessprint™ for sales operations and Tradesprint® for commodity trading and risk management.

Vinay Firake, Chief Executive Officer of Wipro’s Asia Pacific, India, Middle East and Africa business, said the acquisition would strengthen Wipro’s capabilities in supply chain and commodity trading while enhancing its AI-powered consulting services.

Suresh Sundararajan, Chief Executive Officer of Mindsprint, described the acquisition as a “significant milestone”, adding that joining Wipro would provide the company with greater global scale and access to advanced engineering and AI capabilities.

Under the terms of the agreement, Mindsprint will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under the name “Mindsprint, a Wipro Company”.

Wipro Limited and Olam Group were advised on the transaction by Rothschild & Co. and Avendus Capital respectively.
