
Several Indian companies have reported their financial results for the first quarter of the financial year, with Titan Company, Oil India and Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals among those posting strong year-on-year growth in profit.
Titan Company reported a 62.9% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,777 crore, compared with Rs 1,091 crore a year earlier. Revenue rose 29.3% to Rs 21,356 crore.
Oil India reported a sharp rise in standalone profit, which increased 253% to Rs 2,870.2 crore. Revenue rose 58.8% to Rs 7,958.1 crore from Rs 5,012.4 crore.
Power Finance Corporation reported a more modest 2.1% increase in consolidated profit to Rs 7,012 crore. Net interest income, however, fell 3.3% to Rs 10,696.4 crore.
Kaynes Technology India recorded a 40.5% increase in revenue to Rs 9,460.2 crore, but consolidated profit declined 24.4% to Rs 56.4 crore.
Ola Electric Mobility narrowed its consolidated loss to Rs 336 crore from Rs 428 crore a year earlier. However, revenue fell 45% to Rs 455 crore.
Entero Healthcare Solutions reported a 37.3% rise in profit to Rs 38.2 crore, while revenue increased 38.2% to Rs 1,940.5 crore.
Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals reported a 56.1% increase in profit to Rs 101 crore, with revenue rising 13.9% to Rs 1,166.6 crore.
Nitin Spinners reported an 83.6% increase in standalone profit to Rs 75.3 crore, while revenue grew 10.3% to Rs 875 crore.
Anant Raj posted an 18.9% rise in consolidated profit to Rs 149.6 crore, with revenue increasing 6.6% to Rs 631.4 crore.
Ambika Cotton Mills also reported strong growth, with profit rising 61.4% to Rs 25.7 crore and revenue increasing 34.3% to Rs 257.9 crore.
Several other listed companies, including Vodafone Idea, Bosch, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, AstraZeneca Pharma, Bharat Forge, Gland Pharma, Hindustan Copper, KEC International, Info Edge, Sun Pharma Advanced Research, Triveni Turbine, TVS Supply Chain Solutions, Wockhardt and Zee Entertainment, are scheduled to announce their quarterly results.
