Tathastu Realty has announced plans to invest ₹500 crore in developing an affordable housing project in Rewari, Haryana, as demand for budget-friendly homes continues to rise.
The company said it will construct 3,354 flats under the Haryana government’s affordable housing policy. Each unit is priced at around ₹30 lakh, with a base rate of ₹4,500 per sq ft for a 645 sq ft apartment. Buyers will also have the option of an additional 100 sq ft balcony, priced separately at ₹1,200 per sq ft.
The project has already seen strong demand, with more than 8,000 applications received for the available units. The allotment process has been completed through a draw system, in line with regulatory guidelines.
Neeraj K Mishra, Executive Director of Tathastu Realty, said the response highlights continued aspirations for homeownership among families seeking quality housing at accessible price points.
Tathastu Realty, a subsidiary of Gurugram-based Ganga Realty, focuses on affordable housing and commercial developments, with projects in Sohna and Rewari.
The announcement comes at a time when developers are increasingly targeting mid- and lower-income segments, amid sustained demand and supportive state housing policies aimed at improving urban affordability.
