Asian Granito India Ltd (AGL), one of India’s leading luxury surfaces and bathware companies, has reported a sharp rise in profitability for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, supported by strong domestic demand, improved operating efficiencies and a better product mix.
The company said its consolidated net profit rose 89.69% year-on-year to ₹18.74 crore in FY26, compared with ₹9.88 crore in the previous financial year.
Revenue from operations increased 8.60% to ₹1,858.06 crore, up from ₹1,710.98 crore in FY25. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 15.38% to ₹120.42 crore, while EBITDA margin improved to 6.48% from 6.10% a year earlier.
Chairman and Managing Director Kamlesh Patel said the company had emerged stronger despite a challenging business environment and remained optimistic about future growth prospects.
“We are encouraged by the positive demand environment and the normalization of production across all manufacturing facilities,” he said. “Strong domestic demand and our expanding market presence position us well for sustained growth.”
The company noted that all manufacturing units are currently operational, helping restore business momentum. However, it acknowledged that higher natural gas prices, elevated export freight costs and lingering labour-related issues continue to pose short-term challenges.
AGL said it is increasingly focusing on the domestic market as geopolitical uncertainties have pushed up container shipping costs, affecting export competitiveness.
Looking ahead, the company reiterated its long-term ambition of becoming a ₹6,000 crore revenue business within the next three to six years through expansion of its brand, distribution network and product portfolio.
The company also highlighted its sustainability initiatives, including the use of natural gas, renewable energy generation through solar and wind projects, rainwater harvesting and zero-waste manufacturing practices.
AGL said it is further investing in customer engagement through new experience centres, digital platforms and its mobile application, aiming to strengthen channel partnerships and enhance customer experience.
