Playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Santacruz West for Rs 20.88 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by CRE Matrix.
The transaction is part of a series of recent real estate investments by the Ghoshal family. The singer, along with her family members Sarmistha Ghoshal and Bishwajit Ghoshal, has now made three high-value property acquisitions within the past three months.
The newly acquired apartment is located in the Vaayu building on Sarojini Road in Santacruz West. Situated on a higher floor, the property has a carpet area of 2,601 square feet, along with a 299 square foot balcony. This brings the total usable space to nearly 2,900 square feet.
Earlier this month, the family purchased two luxury apartments in Worli for a combined value of around Rs 60 crore, according to official registration records. Those units are part of the premium residential segment in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.
In a prior transaction, Ghoshal had also invested in two apartments at the Godrej Trilogy project, being developed by Godrej Properties. The series of acquisitions reflects a growing trend among high-net-worth individuals investing in Mumbai’s luxury real estate market.
Property analysts note that areas such as Santacruz West and Worli continue to attract affluent buyers due to their connectivity, infrastructure and premium residential offerings.
While the singer has not publicly commented on the purchases, the latest deal further underlines her family’s expanding footprint in the city’s upscale housing segment.
